I have sailed on Celebrity 15 yrs ago and had a wonderful time that hadn't been beaten on any other cruise line. We always wanted to get back on one of their ships to see if it's still good. We weren't disappointed. The entertainment was better than any of the other ships. The food was probably on the better scale comparing also. Activities were plenty. You can't be bored on this ship no matter what your age. We ate mostly in the main dining room because the food was better there. The Oceanview didn't offer anything varied. Some things you would expect on every cruise wasn't there. Having said that, it was really nice being served at every meal. Trying to think of anything negative I'd have to say the games they would have around day or night where you wouldn't really want kids hanging out they actually participated. It kind of took the fun out of it at least for us and we love children, just not all the time. Some parents seem to think their kids are so funny & cute to everyone. I'm sure people can relate to what I'm saying. There were times things were said or done that were not for their eyes & ears and adults should be able to enjoy their vacation without having to worry about children. That's about all the negative I have. Oh, one more thing the Select dining doesn't work very well. Pick a time for every night. It's got to be so much better unless you want to eat dinner after 8pm then you'll be able to get the reservation.
Cabin stewart Made (pronounced Ma dee) was excellent! Couldn't ask for anyone better. Room was very well laid out with plenty of storage area.
