My son graduated from high school and we used the occation to set up a family cruise. There were 10 in our party in 5 rooms. My boys are over 18, but not 21 and we chose this ship/cruise because it offered Flo rider and rock climbing etc to "entertain" my big kids. Our excursions were all through RC and included Tabyana Beach in Roatan, Chaccoben in Costa Maya and Xplor in Cozumel (Playa del Carmen).

Our boarding went well, very smooth and fairly fast with the online pre-check-in I believe streamlining the process.

We had 8 pm dining and were all seated at one table. We looked forward to this since it was the only scheduled time the entire group of 10 would meet each day. We are pretty simple people and the fine dining was unusual for us. I know it's supposed to be long and allow for conversation, but for us it was a bit too drawn out. To experience all 3 courses, it was a full 2 hours. Some may love that, but for me, it could have been condensed a bit more. The food was wonderful and the dining room is beautiful. On 3 of the nights there was some type of presentation by the staff, doing a silly dance with very loud music. I think this was totally out of place in the dining room setting. Really it interupted conversation and we could not see what was going on anyway. Most other meals were eaten in the Windjammer/Jade on Deck 11. The food is great, including plenty of choices from salads and vegetables, to meats, to deserts. There is nothing to complain about with regard to the quality of food available. The one place we stopped by to eat a slice of pizza, Sorrentos, was slightly disappointing, only offering very thin one topping pizza, but it was tasty for what it was.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Typical cabin. Balcony door was SUPER hard to open. Two chairs and a side table on the balcony.
