This was my second cruise with Royal Caribbean. My first cruise was out of Florida on the Oasis of the Seas, so I was spoiled the first time around. Let me just say that the Oasis and the Adventure are a stark contrast to each other. You can really see that RC is directing their money to building new ships and not updating the older ones - this was evident most in the staterooms. The service was excellent all around, but especially in the Main Dining Room, where were treated to exceptional service from our wait and kitchen staff. My wife has many food allergies and they customized a menu for her. Our waiter played his guitar and sung to our table of nine each night. They did a great job. The Windjammer food has gone down hill significantly in three years, probably to cut costs, but it is very evident. The ports were very nice, St. Thomas, Aruba, St. Kitts & Curacao. I would however caution you on taking the Kon-Tiki excursion in St. Thomas - it was a rip off in my opinion - not actually what is described in their ads. We also purchased the basic soda package, the issue we had was finding machines and then finding one that worked. We only found two on the ship that worked. Disappointing considering the price of the package.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Great service. Cabin colors and furnishings outdated. Carpet stained badly. Bathroom shower had black mold and bathrooms smelled of urine all the time.
