We took this cruise to celebrate my husbands 60th Brithday! What a celebration it was! this was our 4th cruise on Celebrity! We flew to Seattle on Wednesday we met up with friends at the airport and proceeded to our hotel! We had a few drinks and then went to Pikes fish market! we then walked and had dinner at one of the crab houses and of course had a crab pot! the next morning we were up early and on the train to Vancouver! The train was awesome even though the weather was not the best it was still the way to go! We saw tons of Eagles and it was soooo relaxing! It was pouring down rain when we arrived, gathered our luggage went through customs and then to the hotel! We went to lunch at a very nice place on the harbor and walked around quit a bit in Gastown! We went to an Irish pub for dinner it was fine nothing special! slept in the next morning and saw our ship come into the harbor! That was awesome! Breakfast and then into cabs to get to the ship! Embarkation was a breeze! On the ship and sipping champagne! We did some exploring and then some lunch! Went to our cabins which were just fine! Some of the reviews worried me but we were very pleased! We had gotten an ocean view and it was GREAT!!!! Sail away time came before we knew it and we were on top going under the bridge waving goodbye to Canada!

dinner that night in the main dining room! It was just fine! our traveling friends did not enjoy the small portions of salmon but they soon brought more and more wine! We were fine! Off to the martini bar and the silent disco which was soooo much fun! The next day was at sea! A rather quiet day but we found things to keep us busy! First stop Ketchikan we did most of our excursions on our own we prefer the smaller groups! We went Sea kayaking and very much enjoyed it! Lunch in town some shopping and back on the boat! We did dinner in the Tuscan grill! Just a little FYI when we would check in for dinner in the main dining room your pager has a coupon on the back and if you go to the dining venues and they can seat you you get 30% off! We did and it was excellent!

Icy straits or Hoonah the only excursion we did through Celebrity and it was a bust, the Jeep tour DON"T do it! Tuesday we were in Juneau! Mendenhall Galcier and we did Whale watching with Harv and Marv what a great day saw lots of whales,Eagles and a sea lion! Wednesday was Skagway and we did an excursion to the Yukon not on a train saw three bears and a Lynx don't do the train you don't see many animals! Did the dog sledding it was a GREAT day! Thursday was the Hubbard Glacier it was perfect we got just under a mile away from the glacier and the captain just kept turning the boat it was awesome! Friday we got off and headed to Denali! We enjoyed everything! My husband throughly enjoyed his 60th birthday they sang brought a cake sent chocolate covered strawberries to the room! What a wonderful time!
