Basically, everything about this cruise was, well, basic, but that isn't all bad.

We flew to Boston a day before the cruise, and I highly recommend doing that unless you live in a city where transportation to Boston is very reliable. We didn't do much exploring but were able to walk around in Boston Common for a while and eat breakfast there before going to the ship on Saturday.

Many cruise ships board before the time you are given on your boarding pass, but this one did not. Boarding was slated to begin at 12:30, and that's when it did (in spite of the fact that the boarding pass stated that the buffet on the ship opened at 11:30, leading me to believe that early boarding would be possible). These inconsistencies in communications were a persistent problem.

Cabin Review

Verandah Suite

Cabin A

This cabin seemed a bit small for its class as a veranda suite, but it had plenty of storage. If you need a bit more, look at the desk stool, which has a pull off lid that provides even more storage space for things like beach towels or dirty clothes.

The bath includes a whirlpool tub, which is a nice addition. A small vase of flowers was kept in the suite, and fruit could be requested. The table would raise and lower, so it could function as a small in-room dining area or a coffee table as needed.
