We usually cruise HA but noticed the food quality has gone down so we tried Celebrity and the food in the dining room was very good. We were disappointed the Ocean View dining area didn't have the same food for dinner as the formal dining room. Usually on other ships, the Ocean or Lido deck have nearly the same dining selections but all that was available was pasta, sushi and the nice alternative dining which had fresh fish dinners. The desserts were delicious with chocolate mousse and tarts and watch the clock for the ice cream station because its not open as long as other ships. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Anchorage and the staff are very helpful and the place is very nice. The hotel shuttle will take you anywhere! Great indoor pool and hot spa and there are laundry facilities for $2 a load. Dinner at Ginger restaurant in Anchorage was Pacfic fushion and tasty. While in Juneau, take the city bus for $1.50 which will take you to Wal-Mart, malls, glaciers and even fun cooking demos at Chez Alaska cooking school.

While cruising Alaska, there is wi-fi through AP&T from 1 hour to 1 month and it sure beats the ship price. www.aptalaska.net. It's not available in Ketchikan, so I used Steamers.com and there is also Seaport.com. Once you pay on-line for the service and on the ship, have your laptop facing town by a window and you'll get a signal. Worked well. Cabin Review

We had an inside room and the bedding was big enough for two big people and the shower was long and roomy.

The room was quiet and just fine for a 7 day cruise. Nice bathroom soap and shampoo and shower head with fresh and plentiful water.
