My husband and I thought this would be the intinerary to touch on everything we wanted. It did, and glad we did it. We're active, in our late 30's, and looked forward to experiencing the pyramids, and we found so much more!

Pros: Ports of call, most. Con: Ship quality. Green and pretty, but walls are paper thin. However, staff and crew were awesome. Food was a disappointment - low quality for Celebrity and same stuff every single day in cafeteria for lunch. Dinner - save your cookies, you'll need it!

Athens was a blast. We did it on our own. Cheaper than the ship, the 4 of us took a taxi to the Acropolis first thing in the morning to beat the crowds. Bargain with the taxi, they go lower. And with the help of the map at http://www.istopoli.com/cruise/athens-map-thision.html, we were able to navigate to all the major ruins/points of interest. This map was fantastic. It took us 7 hrs, stopping for lunch. Hint: Go to Plaka for lunch, nice shops and Greek eateries.
