I chose this cruise for the itinerary, the appeal of the beautiful ship and because we enjoyed our Viking river cruise so much last year.

Embarkation was not a good experience. Scanner would not allow my husband to pass as he removed more and more items. Turned out, he had a packet of hand sanitizer in his pocket (restaurant variety). Annoying start when you are tired.

The ship is the most beautiful we've seen, decorated tastefully in many shades of blue. THE RESTAURANT dining room is especially appealing as spaces are smaller than on most ships; just spread out more. Many single tables are set up in sets of three doubles with some space between. We met many lovely people this way without having to commit to a table of 6 or 8. If you're in the middle, you can start a conversation on either side of you....OR NOT !

Good location. Could use more drawers. Very nice shower.
