Our second Emerald cruise, the first being along the Danube two years ago. Emerald Radiance is a new ship, its crew are super efficient and very helpful. We had a most enjoyable cruise along a stunning river, with varied shore excursions and good guides. The cruise director and his staff were well informed, friendly and really eager to please. A fault in our cabin air con system was fixed immediately. Disembarkation was taking place over a 10 hour period but so well organised it went without a hitch.

We had 3 days in Lisbon pre-cruise, again very enjoyable. Well organised, superb guide for an included city tour and optional trip to Sintra. Although the hotel was out of the down town area, it was comfortable with a well priced good restaurant. Lisbon taxis are relatively cheap so easy to get into the centre.

We've already booked another Emerald cruise for next summer, Budapest to Amsterdam.

Cabin Review

Cabin Panorama Balcony Suite

Although not huge, the cabin was well appointed with loads of wooden coat hangers. A very comfortable king size bed. Good quality bed linen and soft towels which were changed frequently.
