My husband and I chose this cruise because it was not port intensive. Our previous cruise had a lot of ports. We were up early and wanted to see shows at night. We came home exhausted! We really wanted to enjoy this ship & relax. Our embarkation & disembarkation were so smooth! The ship was beautiful and clean. The employees were friendly and for the most part accommodating. Our room steward Odie was wonderful! We had an ocean view balcony, we both enjoyed sitting out there reading our books enjoying the view of the beautiful ocean! Couldn't really read by the pool with all the action and music. We did not travel with children. We did not get off the ship in Nassau. We did our own thing in St Thomas & St Kitt

The entertainment on the ship was wonderful. We saw a different show every night. Mama Mia was a wonderful production. The comedians were hysterical. There was a ventriloquist that has been around for a while and his show was great. Loved the parades through the promenade.

Did not feel the special sales in the promenade were anything special. The food in the dining room was mediocre at best. The wait staff and Maitre D were wonderful. The best meal was the night we had rack of lamb. That was outstanding! We only went to one specialty restaurant. Giovanni's, we went there on the Freedom several years back and really enjoyed it. Not so much on the Allure. Another mediocre meal.
