We have cruised with Royal Caribbean once before so knew what to expect. Rhapsody was a smaller, older ship but lived up to all expectations. The dining experience was fantastic both in the informal Windjammer restaurant and also the main Edelweiss restaurant where the waiter service was impeccable. The onboard entertainment was of a high standard, particularly the shows in the main theatre. Our two sons, both in their early twenties, joined in the fun in the 'Shall we Dance' lounge which was packed to capacity during the Karaoke competitions which were hugely entertaining. Their nights usually ended in the onboard nightclub till v. late!! The casino also provided entertainment as did the activities in the Centrium where various bands played nightly. If your taste is a little quieter, there is the Schooner Bar where a piano player sings and entertains. There were always plenty of sun beds around the two onboard pools where again there was often live music and entertainment throughout the day. There is an excellent gym and fitness suite and also a spa offering every treatment imaginable. The excursion system runs like clockwork as does embarking and disembarking the ship ..we were amazed at the ease of it all. We enjoyed all the destinations we visited although we were slightly disappointed not to visit Santorini which was in the original itinerary but was removed for some reason. However this did not detract from a fabulous week on Rhapsody of the Seas...back to reality now, with lots of happy memories and saving up for the next cruise!!

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

The Cabin was more than adequate and had sufficient storage. The bed was really comfortable and we enjoyed peaceful nights with no outside noise at all. The room service was first class and the air conditioning was extremely good.
