We chose this itinerary because we love the smaller S class ships. Soon they may be a memory. We like warm weather and were pleasantly surprised with each of the five ports we visited not to mention Boston and Montreal. The weather was fine, but we enjoyed the ports so much that we would have ventured out in bad weather if we had to.

The cabin 050, a Vista on deck ten was fine. The toilet stopped working one morning. Of course this was at the worst time, but at least the water in the shower/tub and sinking was flowing. It took several hours for the problem to be fixed. Response time was okay but the problem was evidently challenging.

Food was the usual HAL food. I don't think that anyone goes on HAL for great food. It's like wedding banquet food, adequate. Wish they still made sandwiches to order.

Verandah Suite

Cabin BC

Typical Vista cabin is a nice location near the rear pool. Convenient to the Lido above and the elevators. No noise
