Sail Date: Apr 2017

We loved this cruise and all it had to offer. The ship was superb in every way, with plenty of space and sitting areas whether outside on a sunny day, inside around the pool or in several other comfortable areas around the ship.

We had previously sailed on a Viking River Cruise in Russia which we thoroughly enjoyed. To be on a bigger ship and to see St Petersburg again was the lure for us for the April sailing to Barcelona, Baltic and Beyond. The weather and the cooler temps at that time of the year initially was our concern.

We went well prepared with light clothing for Spain and Portugal and layers, hat, scarf and gloves for the cooler countries plus a light coat, worked well for us.The ship has large umbrellas which came in handy for the couple of wet mornings ashore.

Cabin Review

Cabin PV1

Very well appointed with plenty of storage. The heated bathroom floor is a real bonus.
