My husband and I wanted a nice relaxing cruise. We drove from our home in Northern BC to Vancouver so we could combine road trip sightseeing on the way o the cruise and back home.

We booked midship as I am very prone to motion sickness. VA 5088 was right above lifeboats but did not obstruct view other than directly below. Nothing there to see anyway and it added privacy. I would have said five stars but the bed was awful due to worn out mattress. Felt like I was as going to slip out of bed due to the sagging mattress. The only other issue was failure to pick up dirty dishes after room service even when we called. The room attendant always took the next day when he cleaned the room.

The view even from the room was great. We didn't go on the balcony much because we could easily see from our room.
