My overall experience of Freedom of the Seas was very poor. The food in particular was horrific. Everything is about the up sell. You bought a package but here is a better one........ I felt I was on time share holiday. I was told I didn't book the right spa treatments for my skin. It was desperately disappointing. It was very much geared towards Americans. The food was odd. There was plenty of it but nothing tasty. The scrambled eggs you could bounce of the wall. The plastic plates and glasses were not to my taste.

I explained this to the catering director who I spoke to before we left. Our transfers from the Barcelona port never showed, despite being booked by RC for an hour before we were due to disembark. We spent almost 2 hours in 28°. The Mexican was the best restaurant onboard. Our waiter Loyall in the main restaurant was great. The sommelier tried to convince me that white wine was in fact Chianti.
