We are Elite members on Celebrity and always enjoyed their cruises. They did not disappoint us this time with a great itinerary. We spent 4 days in Rome prior to the cruise at a little boutique hotel in Vatican City, close enough to the Spanish Steps, and all the other attractions. We have stayed there before and the service and room is always great.
We had a balcony statement on the Port side, and the only problem we found was at night it got very hot and close. Woke up in the morning with a dry sore throat, which has never happened before.
The new Cruise Director 'Marteen' from Belgium was excellent. Great entertainment, and best of all was the entertainment in the centre of the ship on decks 3 and 4. A special treat was the 2:30 show on the last sea day. The shows were great. The Reflection is a beautiful ship and this is our 5th cruise on the Solstice Class and we have never been disappointed. We chose 'select dining' which worked out perfectly, never had to wait more than 20-30 minutes for a table for 2. Went to 3 speciality restaurants; Quisine, Murano's and the Tuscan Grill. All excellent
The cabin was fine, except for at night when it was really warm and dry.
The tour was a little too long, leaving us in small villages for 2 hours or so, and we could not understand the tour guide at all through the earphones.
We have been to Nice before and were a little disappointed of how run down it has been. Villefranche was really nice.
Enjoyed Malaga very much. Beautiful city.
Again, a pretty down which we enjoyed
A little disappointed in this City, but nice to see.
