We chose this ship and cruise as Len's sister and husband were sailing on her. The ports of call were of no consequence as we had been to them all before but we wanted to experience another cruise line.

We found the entertainment lacking in physical activities and in our opinion there was not a lot to do in the afternoon and evening, except the singing dancing shows which were always too loud to enjoy. We did, however, enjoy the magic show. In the evenings there were comedians in the Versailles lounge which were good. They had PG shows and adults only shows. We never made it to the adult shows as they were always packed, standing room only, but were told that they were great.

We also found that the children on board dominated the whole cruise so we never ventured into the covered pool and the adults only pool was outside, small and rather cool. We would have liked some areas to be for adults only and quiet. (I sound old and grumpy). There were uncontrolled children at the late and midnight movies and they were most annoying.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

A good sized cabin, comfy bed, plenty of storage. Sound proofing not the best. TV only, no on demand movies only pay movies, room for a DVD player but presumably that had been taken out, no coffee machine, no free bottled water. Good sized balcony with 2 lounges and 2 chairs and a coffee table.
