Our first time on Celebrity and we really enjoyed it! My husband prefers smaller ships (we've cruised twice on the Azamara Quest which has a 700 passenger capacity). He was skeptical about the Celebrity Equinox....but the stellar dive itinerary of Grand Cayman/ABC islands got him on the ship! We opted for AquaClass to keep the experience smaller for him, which was mostly successful. The pool area on sea days was where you really noticed how many fellow cruisers you had. Because we like being outside on the water so much, we spent most of our time at the Lawn Club, the Sunset bar, and the glass blowing shows which were surprisingly interesting! Embarkation and disembarkation was a breeze. We dined at Blu and the Oceanview Café which were both very good. One thing I like about Azamara is fresh berries on the buffet - Celebrity's frozen ones are just not the same. We had a great time snorkeling or scuba diving in each port - we arranged our own excursions which worked well. I wish we had more time in Grand Cayman - after our dive we simply didn't have time to check out Georgetown (although we've been there before so not a big deal.) I thought it was the best big ship experience we have had!

Cabin Review

AquaClass 1

Nice big cabin compared to Azamara Quest! Lots of sensible storage - loved it.
