Cabin Review

Standard Interior Stateroom

Cabin N

The room was small, clean, neat and efficient.

The air conditioning was insufficient providing adequate cooling. A calibrated thermometer was purchased at a port, which showed the room temperature was always between 76º and 79º degrees F. We had obtained, from the front desk, a pedestal fan (rather large) that was placed in the room to bring the ambient temperature down a few degrees. The cooling was our biggest issue for the trip.

For sleeping, the bed is very comfortable. Especially, with a feather duvet covering you.

No refrigerators were in the cabin, just a small bucket of ice which melted rapidly in the warm room. But I understand that one can be ordered/installed at $2.00/day.

Storage/Shelving is quite sufficient.

Very little wear and tear noted in the cabin.

The TV remote required new batteries.

The TV sound audio was distorted. Numerous complaints were made to the Front Office. Technicians were sent, but it was never fixed. The sound returned to normal after several days.

On the 3rd day, the telephone in the cabin went dead, the Front Office was informed. The repair was made in a few hours.

The Cabin/Stateroom Staff is alert, friendly, but can be rather very slow to respond at times.
