It offered a great opportunity to visit countries I had not visited before. South / Mid European Countries that had been ravaged by warfare and political intrigue over many centuries. The shore excursions were interesting and very well organised and led by well briefed guides. The ship itself was modern, spotlessly clean and the crew in all departments were cheerful, well turned out and most helpful. In all it was a most enjoyable experience.

One small criticism was that the pre Dinner time Port briefings were often repetitive and so too long. Perhaps Dinner should have been served a little later or to avoid an unseemly rush immediately after end of the briefing there should have been two sittings ?.

On the more technical side I was very impressed with the manoeuvrability of the ship and the lack of noise and vibration even when at speed. Read more
