Spent a week on Mariner. Upselling began the minute I got on with pressure to buy drinks package, tours, internet, cheap clothes and jewellery. The main 'atrium' is a poor excuse for up selling of just about anything except anything of worth. Compared to eny other ship I've been on - HAL, P and O, Cunard etc - this ship is garish and cheap. The library is no more than a small corner with the fewest books I've ever seen. The food is low cost as possible; the games and dancing are non events. I'd heard that Royal Carribean had gone down from various other folk but decided to go anyway. I just wish I hadn't. Sorry - can't think of much positive except the paid restaurant where the food was better - but then I paid a good deal extra for it.

Royal Caribbean you really need to up your game.
