Did a back to back cruise in Feb 2017 we wanted to try out the large ship experience having been on the Anthem of the seas , we were not disappointed this is a great ship and although there were 6000+ people on board it never felt crowded, we were on freedom dining and although the staff in the restaurant were great we found the food a little disappointing, sure it looked great and was served perfect for us it lacked a bit of taste, so we ate a lot of the time in the windjammer it was quicker and more choice and tasted great, the whole ship experience was truly wow! there was so much to do and see i think there was still bars and restaurants we missed even after two weeks, we did the drinks package and enjoyed wonderful cocktails, beers and poolside frozen delights if you like to drink we would recommend you do this package as it saves a lot if you like to enjoy yourself, all the shows were marvellous the ice show and the Aqua show were very good, but i must admit Cats was a struggle to understand but then again i didn't understand it when i saw it in London 25years ago, everything else was top notch, the cafe in Central park is a must for beef lovers the sandwich they make at lunchtime is to die for we had many many of these, this was a great cruise and well up to royal caribbean standards, only down side was that Royal Caribbean only seem to do 1 week cruises and doing the back to back Eastern and Western Caribbean meant you have to return to port Canaveral half way and also visit Labadee twice, Its good but twice! coming from the UK its a long way to come for a 1 week cruise would be nice if you mixed them up a bit to give us 2 week cruisers a chance, you do have a lot of ships doing the Caribbean, also stopped off at Cozumel and did the Mayan Ruins tour this tour was in my opinion quite expensive at the ruins really are ruined theres nothing there except some stumps of rock in the ground just protruding the earth and although our Guide Emanuel was great and full of enthusiasm I'm sorry guys this was the worst tour ever, they then took us to a beach for an hour which i suppose was to justify the cost of this tour, which was nice but its a beach! had some food in the cafe there [ no comment ]

Our Captain, Captain Rob was great very laid back and confident felt very safe in his hands, we were lucky enough to meet him in the bridge on our all access tour which by the way was fantastic and worth every penny if you are going to do a behind the scenes tour this is the ship! all in all a great cruise with a good mixture of age groups [ not saying i would like it when the kids are on holiday ] a wonderful experience and looking forward to my next Royal Caribbean cruise Dec 2017 definitely recommend this ship and would have no hesitation booking a cruise on it again, thanks guys......

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Nice cabin very clean spacious, shower plenty big enough for me and I'm a big guy, steward was fab nothing too much trouble, had two cabins as we had to change because of the back to back cruise but no problem they moved all our stuff for us that was on hangers and took our cases and hung everything up just marvellous!
