We sailed out of Miami on Saturday, Sept 5, 2009 on the Carnival Liberty. Embarkation was a breeze. We arrived at pier around 12:20, on board by 1:00, having our welcome aboard cocktail. Cabin available upon boarding, luggage delivered by 3 pm. Had a blast at sailaway party. Cruise Director Butch was an awesome leader and got the energy of the passengers going right away. This practice continued the entire cruise.

Port visits were great, our favorite being Grand Turk where we rented a car and explored the beautiful island at our own pace. St Thomas, while there on every cruise, never ceases to take our breath away. Took a tour with Sunny Liston and had a blast. Old San Juan was very nice too. Took carriage ride, had breakfast at La Bonbonaeras bakery and then shopped and strolled the old streets of shops. Half Moon Cay, cannot say enough. Sand was like silk, aqua blue waters kept us captive for over 5 hours, as the sign said, we did NOT want to leave either.

Service on our ship was impeccable. Our cabin Steward Lukie-Lukie was awesome and definately catered to our every whim, with a smile and a greeting every time.
