We chose this cruise because we had a good experience with a Royal Caribbean cruise to St. Thomas and St.. Martin last year on the larger ship - Anthem of the Seas. Although the Grandeur was smaller, we wanted to visit New England and Canada. There wasn't as much to do onboard the smaller ship as on the Anthem, but on cruising days we enjoyed the trivia and anagram games, the musical entertainment and watching karaoke and line dancing. The evening entertainment was great in the Palladium. We especially enjoyed Matt Fallon's hypnotism and Lou Gazzara's singing. The Broadway singer was great and the comedians were hilarious. We took advantage of the many choices for shore excursions. We enjoyed our time in Bar Harbor and Halifax. We had visited Acadia on a prior trip to Maine so we took a boat tour of Frenchman's Creek. We were especially interested in the Halifax cemetery where the Titanic victims are buried. People in Halifax were very welcoming and friendly.

Each of the excursions provided excellent and knowledgeable tour guides and drivers.
