Sail Date: Jun 2017
Cabin: Veranda Stateroom

We flew into Prague where we spent three lovely days exploring the city while staying at the Hotel Paris which was a delightful experience. From there we had a car take us to the Nuremberg port for embarkation on June 2nd.

Embarkation went very easily and we went right to our stateroom. The cabin was tiny and I have included more details below.

I was very surprised at the lack of choices available for dinner and lunch. I have sailed on the Seabourn triplets in the past which carried approximately the same number of passengers and on Seabourn there was always a variety of choices available.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

It was clean and had tasteful furnishing but the room was tiny, really only big enough to walk around the bed.

The bathroom was even smaller and at times nonfunctional due to it's size. For instance I found it was too small to get dressed in which was an issue when we had another ship tied up adjacent to us in port. The shower had swing in/swing out doors to give a little more room but it was not easy maneuvering during a shower.

Our cabin attendant was very good and kept the room very clean.

Port Reviews

Nuremberg

We did the Nuremberg through history tour. It was a sad and depressing bus trip.

Regensburg

We did the Weltenburg Abbey and narrows tour. The boat ride to the Abbey was pretty but because it was WhitSunday the church was closed for services and the brewery also was closed. We went to the Abbey and watched a 15 minute video and that was it.
