chose this particular cruise for the ports of call. Once booked found out it was originally the Splendour of the Seas which we had sailed on with Royal Caribbean before. Palma airport is very busy but once we got to the ship the process was easy and quick. We had an outside cabin on Deck 3 which had a large picture window, plenty of hanging space and drawers. The cabin steward, Marina, was great and came in 2 or 3 times a day. We ate in the Island most nights but also Gallery 47. Also had a meal in Kora La and this was well worth the supplement one of the best curries I have had. Went to a couple of shows and the entertainment team worked very hard and were very talented. The comedian was very funny and The resident bands were excellent as was Benjamin Moss. Before travelling saw that some people said that they had problems getting served drinks by the pool and in the bars, we had no problem at all with this and the bar staff were always pleasant. Can't comment on the excursions as we did our own thing. A big thank you to Dani on reception who dealt with our problem quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend the Discovery.
