We chose Royal Caribbean as we have sailed to the Caribbean in the past with them.
I don't even know where to begin. First getting on the ship was just mass confusion. We arrived at the time stated for our deck and waited in line 2.5 hours, and of course one of our bags didn't make it to our room as the paper tag they stapled on was ripped of when the loaded our bags. We had to wait until 8 pm then we could go down to the bottom of the ship and find our bag and get it to our room.
Most of the food was mediocre at the best. Very bland and most of it tasted like frozen tv dinners, even in the main dining room. We read online before boarding that we were able to bring our own wine and drink it in the dining room without a corkage fee. When we went to dinner with our wine we then were told that there would be one. After I complained about it and let them know that the website said otherwise they told me that it was new and began with that cruise. I then asked why didn't the two places I had to check my wine in with let me know that before I boarded. They waived the fee. The hallways on deck 6 smelled like sewer most of the cruise. The RC website also stated that during bad weather the atrium pool would be open for kids to swim in that too was false. There was a lack of entertainment and things to do. It felt as though nothing was big enough to accommodate a sold out cruise. The ice skating rink was only open once for skating. You would think that during the rain and bad weather that they would show movies all day in the theater.
The cabin was decent. The walls were dirty and stained but the rest was fine.
