We picked this cruise on itinerary. When we got on board we felt like we were on a cruise in 1975. The ship was very very dated and drab. The staff were very unfriendly and were tired and pretty grumpy. There were some Balinese staff that were nice. We were shocked each time at port returning to the ship we couldn't even get a hello or smile from the staff. The ramp up to the ship was very old and there was a very old scanning system. The casino was prehistoric. The buffet was very busy as expected but very few staff to get drinks or clean up plates. If you wanted a drink near the pool,it was extremely slow. The toilets near the pool male and female were filthy at all times. This was the poorest cleaning standards we have every experienced in 17 cruise with many different cruise lines. I would not recommend msc to anyone.
