Although 15 years old, Millennium is still in great shape, As always on Celebrity, they pay attention to details and everything went smoothly. Loved Tuscan Grille and Qsine; our main complaint was about the long lines to get into open seating in the main dining room, especially the first two nights. Take advantage of the discount and go to Tuscan Grille on the first night and avoid the lines. Buffet is better on the bigger ships; here they tended to run out of food, plates and cutlery at peak times.
Take the Inside Access tour of the ship if possible. Great to see how everything is done.
Celebrity-run excursions were top notch (having great weather helped); don't miss the helicopter to the glacier, floatplane, sled dogs and White Pass Train. We took the 4 night postcruise Alaskan Wildlife Adventure tour and weren't disappointed. We stayed in 4 terrific hotels in 4 cities with a super tour guide. Even saw Mt. Denali. And lots of wildlife!
Standard size balcony cabin with standard amenities (note 15 years old). But clean and well maintained, great cabin attendant saw to all our needs. Located mid-ship, so convenient access to either end of the ship and usually to the gangway.
We took the hop-on, hop-off bus. The signs were small (city of Vancouver restriction), but once we found them, it was fine. Good easy way to see the city.
