Embarkation: We took the Princess Bus from Baltimore. Arrived in Brooklyn at 1:45 On-board in 15 minutes. Very smooth. Cabin: Well designed with plenty of storage space. Like the hanging area which is not blocked by the cabin door. Bed hard but egg crate made it comfortable. Dining: Food choices were limited. Sometimes had trouble finding something that appealed to me ( especially in the appetizer and desert choices). Meat tended to be overdone. Had anytime dining since unable to get early traditional. Always sat at large table. Service very uneven. On first night it was very slow and the coffee came after everyone was finished with desert by which time most left without their coffee. Other nights were better but most times seemed unorganized ( sometimes one person not getting their requested entree or drink). Had breakfast and some lunches at buffet. Waffles were good and available until 10AM at scoops ice dream area near the pool. There was an omelet station in one of the areas. Waiters brought beverages and utensils were set at the tables. They were very attentive. We would meet up behind the Cari-be since tables were more easily available in that area. Really liked the international cafe. Great sandwiches, salads and deserts. In fact they had the best deserts available on the ship. Entertainment: The production shows were well done. Two were repeated on the next night. These shows have been on the ship for a many years. Thus I had seen two previously. Would have liked to see something new. The 1st comedian was very good and the 2nd one ( a magician/ comedian) was okay. The casino staff was very pleasant. Enjoyed the trivia and feud game. Enjoyed the musicians in the piazza. Bert Statton was the pianist/comedian. Many seemed to enjoy his performances. Nice pools and whirlpools. No trouble finding loungers poolside. The terrace pool was heated and it was a nice location to relax. Recent movies were run in the afternoon in the princess theater. Enjoyed MUTS a couple of evenings. We did not take any ship shore excursions Public Rooms: Pleasant decor and clean. Crew: Everyone we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Great cabin Steward. Disembarkation: The silent disembarkation was well organized and went very smoothly.
