We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the time frame. The main dining room's poor service and cold un-appetizing entrees were only overshadowed by the excruciating lack of wine service protocol and knowledge of basic salad dressings. This forced us to use the buffet restaurant (good food, but extremely crowded, probably because of the cold food and slow, poor service at the main restauran), and the specialty restaurants, which had great food and service. Our room stewart was missing in action for most of the cruise, except for the time he spilled a bucket of water on our cabin rug. Our toliet would not flush and the shower drain was so slow that we had to limit ourselves to 3-minute showers so the water would not overflow onto the bathroom floor. Our ice bucket had the remains of melted ice cubes from the previous occupants which remained in the bucket throughout the cruise. The ship's restrooms were clean at times, and I mean, at times. Entertainment was good, greatest magic act I've ever seen. Ship's full-time entertainment was the average glits and glamour seen on most cruise ships. The excursions offered were top-notch and enjoyed by our entire family.
