We picked this cruise simply for the destinations! We had a seasonal direct flight from Charlotte to Barcelona starting in May and wanted to take advantage of that. Arrived in Barcelona 3 days before sailing to explore and experience the city. Once we sailed the ports were just spectacular! Barcelona, then Nice, Eze and Monaco in the French Riviera, followed by historic Florence & Pisa ...... then the eternal city of Rome and the Vatican; next took the "drive of death" from Salerno to Sorrento via Positano along the Amalfi Coast followed by two days in romantic Venice; and wrapped up with a quick visit to Zadar, Croatia and finally the spectacularly beautiful Kotor, Montenegro.

Crew very friendly and helpful. However hate the nickel and diming over beverages, wifi etc. Rather pay more and avoid showing SeaPass card every time! Food standard has gone down in MDR - no lobsters unless you pay $31. Windjammer quality is good for buffet!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

7576 has an obstructed view which they did not state. The life boats stick out beyond the balcony blocking about 10 feet of view over water! Otherwise good location not too far from Centrum elevators.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

On our own for 3 days pre-cruise

Florence (Livorno)

Hired private car and driver for 9 hours through Italy Limousine! Best decision. Drove to Pisa and Florence and viewed everything at our own pace.

Venice

Arranged private water taxi via Viator to and from cruise port to take us to San Marco. Spent night in beautiful Venice hotel since ship was docked overnight. Had dinner in fancy restaurant and took gondola ride, walked around Venice, had coffee in San Marco cafe! Next day saw Murano and Burano. Had an awesome experience!

Kotor

Took tender boat and walked around beautiful Kotor and walled city. One of the best views of Kotor bay as ship came in.
