Our 9 night Memorial Day Caribbean Cruise was a thoroughly enjoyable vacation, highlighted by stops at Grand Cayman and Bonaire, and underpinned by the good work of the Equinox crew.

Flight down to Ft. Lauderdale on American Thursday afternoon was smooth, although we arrived almost an hour late due to local weather.

We arrived early for embarkation Friday morning and after being processed we had to wait in the holding area. We weren’t alone, and felt that Celebrity handled the May 26 influx of passengers well.

Port Reviews

Curacao

Due to windy conditions, we canceled our snorkeling excursion. We did a self-guided tour of the old city, which is walkable and has shopping opportunities. This is a port that shows the influences of Europe, the Caribbean, and South America.
