I chose this cruise, B2B and Baltic Capitals, for the fact that I could do two cruises in one. I have read the other reviews and mostly agree with others. We (my Husband, my two cousins, my aunt, and my cousins wife and I) were sorely disappointed to have missed two ports. Getting off and on at Brest, France, and South Hampton, England, were the worst I've ever experienced. Both times we waited over an hour to disembark on NCL tours. For the France excursion, we waited over an hour in the theater, then all the people has to rush to get their stickers and then get off the ship and get on the buses. It was so disorganized you'd think it was the very FIRST time NCL ever did this. In Southampton, we waited over an hour in a crew stairwell to get off the ship. The crew stairwell has very tiny steep stairs and it was very difficult to wait there while watching other passengers getting off the ship . Inexcusable as there were many elderly and disabled people waiting in that stairwell.

I like the any time dining, but not having a waiter directly assigned to our table. Many many meals arrived lukewarm because they had been sitting there waiting to be served. That never happened to me on Princess or RC. One time our dinner sat at a station while the server in our area watched the Burn the Floor dancers perform instead of serving our meal. Also, when ordering I'd state what I wanted, but actually had to point to it on the menu because the order taker had no idea what I wanted. Servers should have reviewed the menu (even tho it's the same every few days) and be knowledgeable of what's being served. Our water glasses were NEVER refilled without being asked. After dinner when we were served coffee, one person brought the cup, another brought the cream and sugar, and a third person brought the actual coffee. Certainly not efficient. That is not to say that there wasn't some good service. O'Sheehan's had the best server I've ever encountered anywhere anytime. She was so attentive, kind, helpful, and pleasant every time we ate there that is made almost all the bad service memories go away. Even if we weren't in our station, she would bring me my favorite drink and ask us if we needed anything.

Burn the Floor and Million Dollar Quartet were great. Very easy to make reservations. The comedians were good, magicians pretty much performed the same tricks, and the hypnotist was enjoyable.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Decent space in the cabin. Balcony was kept very clean. Liked being able to leach wifi when we were docked by sitting on our balcony if we were docked on the starboard side. Bed and bedding were comfortable. Not enough electrical outlets in the room. Bring your extension cord if you need power close to the bed (like for a cpap machine).

Port Reviews

Miami

Nice port, very effecient boarding process.

Ponta Delgada

This port was skipped. The ocean was rough and we left.
