We recently returned from a 7 nite cruise to Canada/New England on the Caribbean Princess. I will try to be concise and address the issues that I believe fellow cruisers might want to know.

Background: 13 cruises, second time with Princess. Been on RCL, NCL, HAL, Celebrity. Live at Jersey shore, 45 min. from NYC, youthful middle aged couple, love to travel.... have cruised the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Alaska, British Isles, Norwegian Fiords and Canada/New England (from Boston) on ships of all ages and sizes. Caribbean Princess is the largest ship we have ever sailed and she convinced us that we need to return to the smaller ships to get a quality experience.

Embarkation: Getting on and off the ship was a breeze. Drove to RedHook/Brooklyn, parked our car for $142.00 for the week. They take credit or cash and you pay when you leave. The longshoremen were friendly, helpful and even took our bags all the way to the parking lot when we disembarked to get us close to our car. Couldn't be happier with that entire experience.
