Sailed from Southhampton to NYC with a friend in late May. We each had our own cabin and loved the privacy and on board social experiences. All lectures and educational offerings were superb. The big band and the Royal dramatic arts troupe were also very good. The weather was good so I did not experience any rocckng or sea sickness , although I understand the QM2 can withstand almost anything. I was upgraded to a lovely inside cabin with the atrium view in the HB category. My friend paid twice as much for a sheltered balcony across the hall. Rhoderick kept the room immaculate. Every meal was delightful and we shared tables with such outstanding passengers! I would do this crossing again and again. All in all, I think the Cunard brand has maintained a distinct and special level of excellence. We have tried other luxurious cruise lines (Regent, Oceania) but the food, servce and entertainment on this vessel was definitely superior.
Lovely and perfect for one person. Very quiet and comfortable. Excellent service including daily coffee brought to the room 7:00 am!
