This was our first ocean cruise and it did not disappoint. We were a little concerned having read other reviews about Magellan before we sailed but I really think some of the other reviews were either fake or from professional complainers (some people are never happy). This ship and the cruise was fantastic from start to finish. The crew were friendly, courteous and efficient. Food was really good and table service was as good as you would get in high standard restaurants. Entertainment was top class with the shows every night and cabarets in the bars were varied. The cabin was excellent and our cabin assistant was very friendly. Around the ship there were staff cleaning constantly. It could not have been any cleaner. Getting off and on the ship was very efficient each day, even at Geiranger were they had to use the tenders. The only negative was the emergency drill which did not go so well but we noticed that the staff had to practice this a couple more times during the cruise while we were off enjoying ourselves so the issue was rectified. Norway is a lovely place to visit with Flam being our favorite stop. We would not have any problems cruising with CMV again.
