Background: Husband and I started cruising in August 2012. We have sailed on many of the Carnival Cruise Lines ships for our last 12 cruises. We consider ourselves experienced cruisers. We love Carnival, we always will, however they have made some changes that had me looking elsewhere. (No adult pools on the Conquest class, American table, limited specialty dining, limited drink program) Norwegian had a deal we couldn't resist, it popped up on my Facebook and I thought, no way is this real. Five different options for free. We picked a regular balcony with the unlimited drink package and three specialty dining options. The cost of the total trip with taxes and port fees was ~2300$. I checked every one of the big Carnival ships and none came close to that deal.

Southwest Airlines: We flew our favorite fun airline, always a great time!

Uber- Took Uber from the hotel to the port, it was 12$ from the Pelican at South Beach, super simple.

The cabin is perfect. Forward, close to all the activities.
