Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Summary – The food was excellent and abundant; however, dessert and coffee came at a snails pace. The crew were friendly and helpful. Passengers were mostly adults and seniors with a large number of very young (pre-school age children). We are both seniors, so keep that in mind when reading our comments.

The Good – Anthem Of The Seas is a relatively new ship and was in excellent condition. It was clean and looked new. The crew were very friendly and helpful.

We had a superior balcony stateroom on deck 10. The cabin was very nice, clean and had a lot of storage. The balcony was roomy. Unfortunately from Bermuda to Boston to Bayonne it was very cold out and we didn’t get to use the balcony much. Go in late spring or summer for more use of the balcony. Our cabin steward Pinkie was very friendly and took care of us well. We enjoyed the animals created with bath towels that she left in the room nightly.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

The cabin was new, clean and roomy. There was lots of storage (well done RCL). The balcony was adequately large. We really liked the cabin. The weather was cold for half the cruise, so we couldn't use the balcony all that much. Even so it was nice being able to get fresh area any time we wanted.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

The departure did not seem particularly well organized. There were no signs on what each of the many lines were for. Departure staff, however, were friendly did made an extra effort to answer questions and provide help.
