Cabin: Deluxe Suite

My husband and I booked this cruise 18months ago following a presentation which combined an excursion with Rocky Mountaineer prior to this cruise. This suited our needs to celebrate our special birthdays and were looking forward to experiencing a 6 star ship. We have previously sailed with Celebrity.

Embarkation in Vancouver was very quick and easy and it wasn't long before we were sat on the pool deck sipping champagne and enjoying the Canadian sunshine. We ate in the buffet restaurant, which has a small selection of food.

The cabins were ready soon after lunch and we headed down to ours. Suite 7041. The cabin is spacious and has plenty of storage space, however the décor is a little dated. That said it was kept spotlessly clean. The shower cubicle was clean but had a build up of mould on the grout. The cabin had been decorated with balloons and banners in honour of our birthdays, which was a nice touch and there was a bottle of champagne on ice,
