The Solstice was a great ship to Alaska, food, service, entertainment, ports and staff. Unfortunately the boarding process in. Vancouver was terrible. We were lucky, it took us 2 1/2 hours of standing on lines, others took up t four hours. The muster drill was moved and we departed late. After a wonderful cruise when we docked in Seattle Royal Caribbean Explorer of the sea docked at the same pier, same time, so getting a taxi was an additional hours wait! Someone at RC should have predicted this. All in all we had a great trip except for on and off. The beyond the podium learning experience was priceless! The additional Titanic's last song lecture was also so interesting. The excursion desk was helpful since we were able to get excursions for our next cruise printed up and book them while on board at a small discount. Captain's club elite lounge was relaxing though I do like choices in Diamond lounge on Royal better.

Deluxe Veranda 1C

Cabin 1C

There was plenty of room for all of our clothing. Room was in a quiet location on the port side. If you are going to the Hubbard glacier I think the other side would have a better view though the captain did two 360° turn around so everyone could see.
