Embarkation was easy in Rome and our cabin size was as expected & comfortable. The balcony is a bit small but adequate. We used anytime dining and as we were happy to share never waited very long. The restaurant food was patchy and one night awful, I think they want you to go for their paid restaurants! Entertainment - theatre was v good especially the soul show. Other venues were often closed or quiet and the disco was awful, the DJ had no presence. The house band was great at upbeat numbers but very amateur on slower songs. We feel that the pool area was under utilised where they just relied on films ..on other cruises there was regular entertainment & games especially on sea days...also nothing on in evening outside other than , you guessed it,.. films! Service generally good although we had a bar complaint which wasn't even answered. Most waiters/bars were friendly, especially at Bellinis. We only used one cruise excursion & wished we hadn't in Corfu where the small monestry was stupidly overrun by tour buses & we had insufficient time in Corfu Town. There was plenty of sunbeds available even on sea days. Overall the cruise was good but there was just something missing.
