This was a "bucket list" trip for my husband and me. We added a 7-day land tour to get as much of the Alaska experience as possible. The ship, crew, excursions and glacier views were awesome. Our Star Princess Aloha deck balcony cabin was perfect for soaking in all of the scenery. Loved the onboard entertainment from jazz and popular piano tunes in the lounges to an hysterical comedian and several full-fledged song and dance performances in the theater areas. We took advantage of the upscale dining opportunities, which offered Copper River salmon just at the beginning of the annual run. The causal dining offerings had something for everyone and almost too many choices. My favorite excursion was traveling over White Pass, following the grueling path the Gold Rush prospectors took to seek their fortunes. However, instead of slogging through snow or mud, we rode on a motor coach to the summit and came back on an antique train. Views were spectacular! We saw two of the glaciers calve icebergs and also saw otters, whales, porpoises and a black bear!

Cabin B2

Plenty of space, sufficient storage areas and fantastic view from the sliding doors and balcony.
