Adriatic cruise with excellent itinerary. Ships tours and transport avoided in favour of far cheaper alternatives easily researched on internet. Buffet dining hectic, but good food in general and far better than so called 'fine dining' which was pretentious with complete disregard to dress code for many. 'Decorum' and 'reserve' do not seem to be a strong point for Southern Europeans. Note that MSC charges less for children not all of whom are angelic.

The cabin quality is generally above average relative to other lines, but with poor sound insulation and wardrobe doors which snap closed creating a cacophy of reverberation from surrounding cabins.

Unless you like acrobats and largely mediocre musical entertainment, forget about the theatre, with its minimal legroom seats. Lounge music either defening or drowned out by loud guests. 'Cocktails' a bit hit and miss regards contents.
