We are a family of five. Three seniors and two adults. We are attracted to Disney because of the reputation of great food, entertainment, and service. We also wanted to see Alaska which this trip was perfect for. To start, we spent two days in Vancouver before going on the ship. Arriving to the port was easy. Cabs take you straight to the port and drops off right where the Disney staff are awaiting to direct you. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and there are staff everywhere to direct you where to go. We got on the ship without a hitch. We were amazed at how clean and well maintained this ship is. We have two rooms with windows. Figure it wasn't much use to have balconies going to Alaska. This is a smaller ship after having being on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas. Our room attendant was great. In fact, all the staff seem happy and helpful. They always greet you with a warm smile and greeting.

We ate mostly at the main dinning rooms. Our waiter and assistant waiter are totally awesome. They cater to us better than any restaurant we have been to. They know what you like or dislike by the second night and makes recommendation accordingly. The food quality was good and better than what we had on Allure. It is probably the best amongst all the cruise line in terms of main dinning room food. We went to Palo on the second night. This was awesome in food and service. The souffle was to die for! Never had such good service in any restaurant before. The view from Palo was great being in the aft of the ship.

The shows were great. It is nearly impossible to produce shows that caters to everyone. Disney has mastered this. The Frozen musical is just unforgettable! The lady portraying Elsa sang Let It Go much better than Idina Menzel. The daily itinerary is not as packed as say on Allure but nicely organized. Everyone is able to make it to the shows on a daily basis.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin 09A

Very nice layout. Love the split bathroom so two can get ready at the same time. The shower head was partially broken which was replaced within 3 minutes of calling it in! Shocked at the speed at correcting deficiencies which aren't many. All the furniture are in excellent condition.
