We wanted to try one of the big ships to see what it was like. We loved it. There was an amazing amount of entertainment on board the ship. We saw Mama Mia, Blue Planet, two ice shows and two aqua shows. The headliner show featuring old rock and roll was great, also. The only complaint was that the dance floor in Dazzles is way too small and laid out where anyone coming into the venue has to walk on the dance floor. We often found ourselves dancing in the hall way in front of the venue. The band that played there was very good. They are called Southside. They did a very decent job of playing all sorts of music. The Boardwalk was a favorite place of mine. We had breakfast at Johnny Rockets one morning. I also visited the Dog house for hot dogs regularly.. My only complaint there was that they do not serve french fries with the hot dogs. Even though there were 6000+ cruisers on the ship it never felt crowed. If you don't like seeing water all the time then go visit Central Park. You would never know you were on a ship. The music is great there also. The 150 cafe was excellent. Just to let you know this was our 29th cruise and we rated it in the top 5.
The cabin seems smaller than other Royal Caribbean ships but it was still adequate because of a fairly nice layout. The bathroom definitely seems smaller.
Lots of things to do if you want to spend the money. The beaches are not all that great because they are too rocky.
Not too fond of Jamaica. Did some shopping at the port.
We always snorkel in Cozumel.
