Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

This was our first cruise after visiting nearly 60 countries. We thought at age 70 we should start getting used to organized travel instead of our usual individual travel. We found this cruise to be very acceptable. The balcony cabin we were assigned on the 7th deck was bigger than we anticipated. The crew was outstanding and very attentive. We did find the constant additional charges to be kind of an annoyance. The food was not great, but neither was it bad. The shore excursion were fairly brief and not the quality of a visit we are used to. We knew this going in, and it did give us an opportunity to visit new places, that we may travel back to again some day. The experience was good enough that we would try it again. We have already booked a Danube River cruise for next year so we can compare that type of cruising.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

The cabin was large enough for both of us to walk about. The bathroom was small but very adequate. The refrigerator kept our beverages cold. The bed was very comfortable, and large enough for a 6 footer. The storage was a little cramped but we did manage. The balcony was very nice. Rooms not very sound proof and we had a noisy couple next door who stayed up most of the night!
