Sail Date: May 2017
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Our balcony cabin (9582) was perfect, ship easy to maneuver, food quality average to poor BUT every one of the staff we encountered had a smile every day. Every port, Sitka, Ketchikan, Icy Strait, Skagway, Juneau, Haines and Seward were amazing and our excursions (private and Royal Caribbean) were the best we have had in 5 Alaska cruises. Loved coffee and cocoa availability 24/7 on 11th floor. Felt specialty dining was pushed too much and think Bingo at $35/game was a huge rip-off.

Embarkation took 5 hours in Vancouver!! and transport through RCI by train from Seward to Anchorage was gorgeous but ruined at the end from RCI. Because our flight out was the next day, we had no choice but to be transported to Anchorage Convention Center downtown from the airport but because the majority of hotels do not offer transport from this location we had to hire a taxi to get us back to the airport for hotel transport. We were told this is done to bring revenue to downtown.
