This was our first cruise on NCL Epic and it was outstanding. The cruise was to the Mediterranean and it was amazing. We arrived at the ship at 11;30 am and the embarkation was painless and took us only 10 minutes. All staff members at check-in were professional and very helpful. The disembarkation was simple and we were able to walk off the ship with our luggage with no issues. There were plenty of staff to assist us as we walked off the ship. Although the Epic was huge, we did not find it hard to move around the ship. We had a balcony and it was above average. It took us a while to get use to the set-up of the bathroom.

The Specialty restaurants were outstanding (Cagney Steakhouse, La Cucina and Teppanyaki) with great food and staff. We also ate at the Taste and Manhattan restaurants and they were very good. We enjoyed the various activities on the ship but some of the entertainment was just ok and not family friendly. All of the staff on the ship that we came in contact with were very professional and helpful.

All of the cities we visited while on the cruise were amazing. We booked all of our shore excursions through a private company due to the high price of the excursion through NCL.
