We took the Getaway on April 30th from Miami to Copenhagen and were very disappointed! The name of this ship should be Stayaway instead of Getaway. The design of the ship was not adequate for 4000 passengers. The lines for the main dining room, entrance into the getaway theater, getting off and on the ship at ports, and immigration inspection where ridiculously long!!! The stop at Brest France was a disaster! Passengers should not have to make reservations for evening entertainment. The number of restrooms near the buffet restaurant were inadequate. The women's restroom in this area smelled and was not kept clean. The 'card room' was much too small. The seats in the Getaway Theater were very uncomfortable. There were limited spaces in the common areas for quiet reading. The Atrium concept did not work. Cabin cleaning carts were often left in the hallway, making it difficult for passengers to pass each other.

The job of a cruise line is to provide a carefree, pleasant journey for their passengers. In this instance, they failed.
